The Azusa Pacific women secured another title, keeping their streak alive. The win marks the eighth year in row for the Cougars. On the men’s side, the streak for APU was broken and a new champion has arrived — Fresno Pacific University (FPU). The majority of points came from taking 2nd through 4th in the men’s triple jump, sweeping the top three spots in the men’s javelin, and going 1-2 in the 5000m.
To start the meet off, Jack Ferrence from Biola won the men’s decathlon by over 200 points. Giovana Pelascini from Concordia University Irvine (CUI) narrowly beat out her teammate, Riley Norris, (4894 points to 4775) for first place in the women’s heptathlon. The Golden Eagles women earned 20 points from the heptathlon.

Esther Conde-Turpin of APU climbed the podium twice, winning the 100m hurdles (13.63) and taking second in the long jump (6.06m/19-10.75) — moving her up to #15 nationally.
